Professor Dr Conrad Jackisch starts in September 2020 as assistant professor for flow and transport modelling in the geosphere at the Institute of Drilling Engineering and Fluid Mining.

Before he was appointed to TU Bergakademie Freiberg, the geoecologist worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the TU Braunschweig. As part of a DFG research group (CAOS) he investigated how soil structures and water displacements are mutually dependent. Ecohydrological models for land and water management on the North Sea coast were the focus of his research at TU Braunschweig. More information about Professor Jackisch here (in German).
